As Australia accelerates its transition to a circular economy, two of the country’s most influential industry events are coming together to help drive the next phase of collaboration. On 28–29 October 2026, Waste Expo Australia and the Greener Infrastructure Conference will unite at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre.
The event creates a national platform that connects the waste, recycling, resource recovery and infrastructure sectors around a shared goal: keeping valuable materials in circulation and building a more sustainable future.
Strengthening this vision, the Infrastructure Sustainability Council (ISC) has partnered with the Greener Infrastructure Conference to help shape a program focused on sustainable procurement, recycled materials, circular economy principles and practical strategies for delivering greener infrastructure across Australia.
At a time when governments and industry are placing greater emphasis on resource recovery, recycled content and low-carbon infrastructure, the co-located events will bring together the organisations responsible for creating circular solutions with those delivering Australia’s next generation of infrastructure.
More than 140 exhibitors will showcase the latest technologies, products and services across waste management, recycling, resource recovery and environmental innovation, while visitors will have access to a comprehensive education program exploring the policies, partnerships and technologies transforming the sector.
The Greener Infrastructure Conference will complement the exhibition by bringing together asset owners, engineers, contractors, procurement leaders and sustainability professionals to explore how circular economy principles can be embedded into infrastructure delivery, helping create stronger end markets for recycled materials and driving better environmental outcomes.
