The fourth rig to be added to the line-up is positioned in New Zealand as the company negotiates terms of a potential contract. The rig will remain there until it is contracted.Enerdrill managing director John Wells said the rig was not bought for any particular client but was purchased on the basis of climate.“The rig is ideally suited to operational conditions in Australian and New Zealand,” he said. “We’ve added this to fill a gap in the fleet.”Two of the company’s existing rigs are being contracted by New Standard Energy and Aztec Engineering Group, while a third contract for the company’s workover rig is expected to be signed with a WA operator.“We find it encouraging that the market is looking at Enerdrill to meet that demand,” Wells said.“Further rigs will be added to the fleet to satisfy demand as required.”
