MRI E-cycle Solutions is an Australian-owned e-waste recycling company with a reputation for practical expertise and robust technical knowledge. They run Drop Zone - a government approved recycling program under the National Television and Recycling Scheme, which provides a free recycling service for householders and small business to dispose unwanted e-waste.

E-waste can contain hazardous materials, which can harm the environment and human health. E-waste also contains scarce materials that are worth recovering. It is estimated that 50 million tonnes of e-waste will be generated globally in 2018. 

E-waste that can be recycled include:

  • Computers and IT accessories;
  • Printers, scanners, copiers, fax machines;
  • Cables and wiring associated with the above products;
  • TVs and monitors/screens; and
  • Mobile phones and accessories.

All e-waste collected will be recycled in an environmentally sound way with more than 90 per cent of the materials recovered for use in the manufacture of new goods. The recycling facilities used are all EPA licensed and independently certified to all relevant industry standards including ISO9001, ISO14001, OHAS18001, AS/NZ4801 and AS/NZ5377.
