“In line with this project team, we’re currently trialling a number of environmentally conscious fleet alternatives and developing ways to assist our customers in reducing their environmental impact,” he said. “The sustainability team is also embarking on a number of initiatives to reduce our own ecological footprint.”Sargent’s green campaign began with the purchase last year of the Hino 714 Hybrid, a vehicle that provides great usability combined with lower emissions and lower fuel consumption, and the company says it will continue to work closely with its customers to provide products that have less impact on the environment.“From a safety perspective, Sargent has enhanced its existing in-vehicle monitoring system by expanding its offering to meet some of the highest industry specifications required in Australia,” Harrison said. “Sargent boasts first-class workshop facilities at each of its locations, plus the company has a team of mobile mechanics delivering onsite servicing and repairs. Sargent will also service and maintain vehicles that it hasn’t leased or rented out.”
