Wacker has long had a strong presence in compaction equipment, but some recent acquisitions and a rebirth as Wacker Neuson have been accompanied by a rush of new releases. Wacker Neuson will launch the 701S skid steer (680kg) and 1101C rubber track loader (1150kg) at ACE. The compact, powerful 701S has Wacker Neuson’s Quattrostatic hydrostatic drive system, which delivers power to the corners where it is most needed. The 701S also has load-sensing hydraulics, and there are hydraulic pilot controls to help make you a smooth operator. A tipping cabin makes the hydraulics easily accessible for maintenance. Also on display at the Wacker Neuson stand will be a new range of mini excavators – 800kg, 1.5 tonne, 2.5t, 3.5t and 5t models. All the excavators include the innovative VDS vertical digging system. But wait, there’s more – you can also check out Wacker Neuson’s recently released range of ride-on trowels. There will be plenty of other new stuff to see at ACE, and we will preview some more next week.
