New home for Schaffer loader dealer

The company recently moved out of the Balcatta premises to a new showroom and yard in Lancaster Road, Wangara.“Our new place is a far cry from where we came from,” Boya Equipment general manager Barry Mackintosh said.“There’s a lot more room for displaying more equipment in the showroom, we have better office facilities for our personnel and it’s easy for our customers to get to.”“It’s very bright for showing the equipment off and we have room to expand further if we want.“One very big plus is that we have vacant blocks either side of us so we can easily demonstrate the machinery to customers.”Undercover floor space has multiplied from 1500 square metres at the old premises to 2500sq.m in the new premises.Mackintosh said a factor driving Boya Equipment’s expansion was the increasing market acceptance of Schaffer Loaders as a replacement for skid steers. “We’re getting more enquiries on the Schaffer product because people don’t like the pitching and the bouncing that the skid steers do,” he said. “The Schaffers are much easier to drive for the operator, and there are less dramas with back problems.”
