Narva calls it a lock-out lever kit and it has been designed to fit the popular US-style Pollak and Cole Hersee battery master switches, which are used extensively in the mining industry.The new Narva device allows the master switch to be locked in the “OFF” position with a padlock to prevent unauthorised use.Narva said that a recent OHS ruling stated lock-out levers must be fitted to all battery master switches used on minesites. The company also said the levers had wide security applications for construction plant and heavy machinery left on worksites.The Narva lock-out lever kit is sold by leading automotive and transport outlets under Part No. 61077 for use with Master switches 61070 and 61075.
