The contracting major said the Alliance would deliver the 7km dual-carriageway bypass to the west of the town of Tarcutta as part of the Hume Highway upgrade.The Alliance is set to commence project planning immediately, including concept designs and geotechnical investigations as part of the project development phase.Leighton said the value of its component of the project works would be determined following completion of this phase.Subject to completion of the project development phase and determination of an environmental assessment, Leighton said construction of the project should begin towards the end of 2009 and be completed by the end of 2011.
