Workshop equipment agent GO Distribution has released to the Australian market a mains-fed vehicle servicing work light that combines the safety of nine-volt power with the clarity of a super-wide 70-degree LED beam.While it plugs into mains power, GO Distribution says the HEMITECH 4 LED light – made by Canadian company Cliplight Manufacturing – has a switch mode converter that takes the power down to 9V so there are no electrical safety issues with cables lying across workshop benches or floors.It also features a hemispherical lens to deliver a powerful beam equivalent to a 100-watt incandescent bulb, but with no hot spots or halos in its beam. GO Distribution says the light is designed to provide 10 years or more of optimum clarity and safety in maintenance tasks.
