A UK-based company has developed a product called Orb (organic refuse bio-compound), which is designed to be used as a building material. The company convert one of the world’s fastest growing waste streams – food waste – into functional materials that are formed into sheets or moulded to create intricate three dimensional products. Marine Fuel made from plastic waste

Clean Planet Energy has released details of two new fuels manufactured for use in any ship or vessel. Both fuels are produced using non-recyclable waste plastics as the feedstock, therefore removing waste, which would otherwise go to incineration, landfill or into our oceans.

Coles and Nestlé announce study into Australian-first for recycling 

A new collaboration marks the first step into a circular economy for soft plastic packaging with technology developer Licella, recycler iQ Renew, Coles, polymer manufacturer LyondellBasell and Nestlé, announcing a joint feasibility study to determine the technical, economic, and environmental benefits of a local advanced recycling industry.
