The screening specialists: Davis Earthmoving

Davis Earthmoving & Quarrying is a mobile processing company offering sustainable outcomes for waste management. The company’s focus is to economically and efficiently repurpose materials through the use of its specialised recycling equipment. With over 45 years industry experience and a variety of mobile screening plant on offer, Davis Earthmoving are screening specialists operating state-wide in New South Wales.

Davis’ mobile screening plant is capable of efficiently processing materials from excavation sites, re-developed land, landfill and resource recovery facilities. Materials include commercial & industrial (C&I) waste, construction & demolition (C&D) waste, topsoil, wood waste, mulches, green organics, compost, gravels, rubble and recycled aggregates. Screening removes dirt, foreign debris, contamination and oversize material such as clay and rocks, allowing recovered materials to be beneficially reused in construction and landscaping.

This Australian family owned and operated company provides a variety of portable screens for wet hire or contract. All Davis’ screens are vibrating and track-mounted, capable of operating on rugged terrain. Screening options are available to suit types of materials and customer specifications, including scalping screens, fine screens and trommel screens.

Established in 1975, it was decades ago that the company identified the value of resource recovery, leading Davis to invest in the heavy-duty Powerscreen Warrior. Over the years, Davis has added multiple reliable Metso screens to the fleet, suitable for screening on their own or as part of a multi stage crushing operation, with the company’s high-powered mobile crushers. The recent acquisition of two Pronar trommel screens has expanded the company’s equipment portfolio, allowing Davis to recover even more resources. CEO Eric Davis explains, “purchasing high-end machines is the only option for us, this ensures we can deliver maximum output for our clients. Importantly, we now have even more equipment available to assist our current and future customers around the state with their recycling operations.”

Davis also has an extensive range of support equipment, including loaders, excavators, stacker conveyors and bulk haulage. Operating it’s own service centre gives Davis the benefit of being able to carry out equipment maintenance quickly to ensure there is minimum delay in production.

Through their mobile screening services, Davis aims to reduce demand for sought after natural resources and to better recover materials from waste to be repurposed. This forward-thinking company hopes to encourage others to transform the way the world sees waste and to assist others in achieving their recycling ambitions.
