Following the cancellation of Waste Expo Australia 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the country’s largest gathering of waste management and resource recovery professionals will migrate its conference online to provide a platform for some of the most important issues affecting the sector to be addressed.
Taking place from 19-21 October, Waste Expo Australia 2021 Virtual Conference, brings together leaders from across the sector discussing critical issues impacting the future of waste and recycling in Australia. You will have the opportunity to hear key industry actions and insights from across policy & regulation, as well as gain practical and tangible solutions from innovators shaping the future direction for waste and recycling in Australia.

Leading off on day one, a policy-focused session will examine Australia’s waste and recycling roadmap, now and into the future. This session will be chaired by Mike Ritchie (MD, MRA Consulting) and include a Ministerial Address from The Hon Lily D’Ambrosio MP (Victorian Minister for Energy, Environment and Climate Change) on the Victorian Government’s 10-year plan to overhaul Victoria’s recycling sector.
