The 1150K dozer has a 6.7-litre, 118 net horsepower (88 kilowatt) turbocharged engine with electronic injection, which Case says allows for maximum fuel efficiency. Case’s 850L hydrostatic dozer has a Case family IV 6.7-litre engine, with around 96 net horsepower (72kW) in grunt. Both units contain the PowerStat hydrostatic drivetrain, which delivers power to each track through heavy-duty drive motors, Case said.“The Case PowerStat components are designed for the high horsepower needed to push a full blade, even through curves and turns. The drive is controlled by an intuitive single lever that easily adjusts speed and direction,” the company said. The new hydrostatic dozers have also been fitted with the latest innovations to suppress vibration and noise within the cab, and ergonomic cab designs to enable operator visibility and comfort aiding productivity.Serviceability and maintenance is also facilitated through easier access via a tilting cab and swing-out doors and spin-on filters, Case said.
