Forge Group writes $100M in new contracts

The new contracts, announced this week, came in addition to the $50 million of contracts announced in September 2008.The new contracts comprise:$50 million in work to upgrade the Dampier to Bunbury pipeline. Work to be carried out by Cimeco, starting February 2009 and due for completion in April 2010.
$32 million towards the Pluto LNG Project. Work also to be carried out by Cimeco, starting February 2009 with completion in June 2010.
$15 million in work to expand the processing plant facilities at the Chirano Gold Mine in Ghana, West Aftrica. Work began in January 2009 and is set to be completed in September 2009. Forge said its forward-order book continues to, at a minimum, support previously announced earnings and revenue guidance for the year ending June 2009. Furthermore, given the contract completion dates of the Pipeline and Pluto projects, Forge remains confident of entering the 2009-10 financial year with a strong order base that will underwrite future earnings and revenue.
