CATERPILLAR C7 EURO 3

We can offer our customers a "Full out of Chassis", completely rebuilt Caterpillar C7 bus spec diesel motor upon request.
These engine are highly favourable within the bus, coach and charter industries.
They are built to a Euro 3 standard and run in on our dyno before delivery.

Following is a breakdown of what an average rebuild will consist of (we can customize your build to suit individual requirements):

The engine is completely stripped, the block is inspected, acid bathed and chemically cleaned.
The block, crankshaft and cylinder head and are sent away for relevant inspections and machining.
New pistons, rings and liners.
New main bearings, thrust bearings, connecting rod bearings and camshaft bearings.
Either a new cylinder head or a reconditioned cylinder head (new valves, springs, seats, guides, injector tubes, retainers, collets etc).
New or reconditioned camshaft and rollers.
New or reconditioned injectors
New or reconditioned turbocharger
New water pump
New thermostat/s
New or reconditioned air compressor
New or reconditioned oil cooler core
Out-of-frame gasket and seal kits installed
Run-in and load test
12 Month/100,000 km warranty

Our engines are set up on one of our load testers and run in under load, ensuring oil pressure, turbocharger boost pressure, coolant temperature, thermostat operation (ensuring that the thermostat opens and the engine recovers), exhaust temperature, smoke condition and crankcase pressure (blowby/breathing) are all within correct running parameters.
