CHAIN MAIL: New website combines work with pleasure

The site includes information from various sources including Fox Sports, AAP News, Yahoo Weather and specialist trades publisher Mayne Publications to create a one-stop reference. “Bloody Perfect grew out of a conversation with a tradesman working on my own home,” said Glen Sharman, marketing coordinator at Hino Australia, who set up the site. “He was looking for advice on a new vehicle, and background information on various business matters, but there was nowhere he could go to get both.”Sharman said tradespeople spent much of their working day isolated from the business environment. “In many cases tradies are pretty much isolated from the world around them,” he said. “The aim of Bloody Perfect is to give them an instantaneous point of reference – at least a starting point for the information they need.”Personal trainer Keith Fennell has also come on board to give workout instructions via video, while a footy-tipping contest is also available.“Bloody Perfect provides advice on the specification most suitable for each trade requirement,” said Sharman.“It outlines what a tradie needs to look for in terms of finding the right truck for their requirements.“Certainly it points people towards Hino, but the advice is equally as applicable no matter which truck the customer buys.”Sharman said that the expectation is that Bloody Perfect will provide a regular service for a reasonable percentage of those truck owners. “It provides sound business reasons why they should visit the site regularly, not just when they are considering a new truck,” he said.Visit the website at www.bloodyperfect.com.au
