Submissions for review of QLD Waste Reduction and Recycling Regulation close tomorrow

The Waste Reduction and Recycling Regulation 2011 is due to expire on 31 August 2023. Before remaking the regulation, the Queensland Government must undertake a sunset review to evaluate its continuing need, effectiveness and efficiency. The Department of Environment and Science is completing a review and proposes to remake the regulation with amendments designed to improve clarity and reduce the regulatory burden on stakeholders.
