This year the AAA has renamed and revised its three award categories to Alliance Team of Excellence in a Project Alliance, Alliance Team of Excellence in a Long-term Alliance (program and service alliances) and Outstanding Contributor to Alliancing.AAA executive director Alain Mignot said the new categories had been needed to keep pace with rapidly evolving practice.“Alliancing has matured significantly in the region since the first infrastructure project was delivered successfully more than 10 years ago in Australia,” he said.“It has transformed infrastructure delivery as individuals and organisations have applied their alliancing experience and learnings about the benefits of collaboration across the delivery spectrum.” Award submissions close Friday, July 3. The awards will be presented at the AAA’s national convention in Melbourne in October.
