Superbarrier is a patented 1000mm-high safety barrier handrail system with self-supporting counterweight base, designed for use around the perimeter of a building floor or roof during construction or maintenance.Superbarrier can be installed as soon as a newly poured concrete floor is able to be walked on. Fence sections are placed into a self-supporting counterweight base and are ready to use. Each base has eight rubber pads for extra grip.According to Preston, the system is flexible enough to accommodate numerous design combinations. No drilling or bolting is necessary and no special tools are needed, just one spanner.Preston says a typical bolt-on fence can take about two days to erect, while a similar Superbarrier will take about one hour. All Superbarrier components are less than 20kg.
